It is time to discover a Syrah beyond its origins
Colour: intense grenadine red color with a violet deep robe.
Nose: very clear aromas, balsamic highlights, eucalyptus and fresh mint, black fruit like blackberries and cassis, plums, candied fruits. Spicy, coffe, dark chocolate and liquorice and other sweeter spices like vanilla and coffee milk. Intensity and high aromatic complexity.
Palate: high attack and good evolution, long aftertaste. Sweet and unctuous tannins, long persistence.
Ètim Syrah is an excellent wine for grilled meats and stews. Choose it for a special meal where the taste for eating and drinking becomes a small ritual.
Our personal advice is to keep some to have with cured sheep’s cheese or blue cheeses.
Recommended serving temperature 18°.
A perfect example of how this variety has perfectly adapted to the terroir in D.O. Monsant. The contrast between day and night temperatures during the last stage of grape ripening enables perfect polyphenolic and aromatic ripening of this type of grape.

Fermentation in small steel tanks at a temperature of 28ºC and subsequent maceration of 27 days.
Aged for 14 months in new French oak barrels of fine grain and soft toasted.
